Big shoutout to Vin [MENTION=88453]SCSPerformance[/MENTION] , his customer service is by far second to none, even went so far as personally calling me to go over options! Decided to go with the F5's 17x8.5 with 4.5" B/S in gloss silver. Enough chitter chatter, on with pics......







 
small update, added some weathertech window visors. Decided to go with the ones that slide into the weather stripping as opposed to the stick on and couldn't be happier, much more of a "fitted" look. Also on a purely cosmetic want, I added in some genuine toyota surf corners thanks to [MENTION=38004]ryhi[/MENTION] :thanks:












On a side note, I sourced 2 supercharger kits….guess I'm a yota hoarder now. J/k one will be sold, but I couldn't pass up a chance to pick up a brand new 1st gen SC

Good choice on picking up that new Superchager. People are trying really hard to find one and you have two now lol. Those new corners look great on your 4runner! It makes me want to get rid of the regular clear corners that I just bought. Looking forward to following this build thread as it progresses.
 
I have family that we visit a couple times a year in Norwich. Perhaps next time I'm up that way you can show me a few trails in the area.

So i've been slacking on updating my build thread, lot has happened so i'll dump them here

quick trail run up the glastonbury mountain to stretch her legs, got to love the fall in New England





Shipped my HVAC digital climate control off to a member on the forum, $55 bucks later he fixed all the buttons and put in new low wattage bulbs :thumb:





Started my sound proofing project using Shok Industries, I have to admit that I was a skeptic it would work but man what a difference, it pretty much muted the sound of the mud tires on pavement. Great product, cuts / forms easily and you just peel and stick. Picked up two boxes during a group buy on Tacomaworld



Installed a new PCV valve and grommet, broke the nipple on the air box silencer that connects the hose to the IM. Old and brittle, so I ordered an Airaid intake tube off amazon. (Good excuse to upgrade in my eyes)



Updated the corner bulbs and interior dome lights to LEDs

 
Really scored and found a brand new in box TRD exhaust from a toyota tech down in New Jersey for a steal of a price :dancing:

She sure is purddy







 
Supercharger weekend install begins, all laid out and ready to go



Dropped the tank for the walbro fuel pump and installed an OEM inline filter







Slant thermostat 170 degrees



Stripped down, new plugs (2 degrees colder) and new wires installed



The bolt hole where the pulley bracket was to bolt into was stripped out, so helicoil to the rescue since I couldn't just increase the bolt size given the 130 mm bolt is hard to come by

Sure thing, the midpipe didn't bolt up as the truck had an aftermarket type cat or exhaust installed at one point, I have to get a flange cut and rewelded on the cat so I can bolt on the TRD and then I'll get a sound clip
 
Found out the fan clutch was on its way out causing the fan to hit the radiator shroud at WOT, replaced both....problem solved



All buttoned up



And finished the weekend off with a Halloween party, buddy brought over his keg cooler / tap setup. Man, I gotta make one of these

Got the exhaust mounted up, a lot quieter than I thought. Sounds great when you're outside the truck, you can barely hear it in the cabin






Jumped on the weather tech group buy to complete the rears and cargo mat






Getting some yard work done
