Triangle exclamation light and beep at start up

Is it normal to have the yellow triangular exclamation light illuminate and beep for a second or 2 on start up? There is no text under the light pointing to a specific issue.

My wife's RAV4 did that (the beep, anyway - didn't look for the light) and it was because the sunroof wasn't fully closed.

I've got 2 kids, so maybe that's happened. Could that cause an issue?

If the rear hatch is closed but not fully seated in the latch , it will cause the light (yellow triangle) and beep you describe. Just re-close the hatch and it should go away. Passenger doors that are not fully closed cause the "door ajar" icon (red) to appear .

I have the same problem. Can you help me? There is an exclamation mark inside a triangle. It is yellow.

It's usually because the sunroof is open
