https://flic.kr/p/24pw6ReBummed out I missed my chance to purchase skid plates.. Always dreamed about getting these when I had my first build and now that I'm doing my second build and going all out I missed my chance..
My 2000 with full skids.
Love these no they are not painted yet but soon I was excited to get them on.:flame::flame::flame::flame:
I was going to go with Savage as well, but now I'll be going with a full set of skid plates from shrockworks. 3rd Gen 4Runner Skid Plates, 1996-2002Guess I should've snagged some when I could have, I'm in the market for an oil/rad skid now and everywhere I look people say just go with Savage. :smash:

Oh really? I haven't come across anything bad about them, but I haven't really looked either. That's what I was thinking too but I've heard endless bad things about shrockworks and their skids.

Thanks for the link! What about RCI skids? 1996 – 2002 4Runner – RCI Off RoadIf you poke around you'll see a few reports like this. Granted most the problems are related to their transfer case and gas tank skids, they still come off as kinda shady to me and with the reports of them not fitting well with many aftermarket bumpers I have a feeling it wouldn't play nice with mine, given how close and snug it sits. Which is unfortunate because it would blend nice with the skid that's already on the bumper (True North Fab open wing)
Lots of people recommend Coastal too but they only offer them in a full set :frusty:
