2002 2wd SR5 165,000miles. The car makes a winding noise as the speed of the vehicle travels from 48mph - 58mph. The noise gets quiter at faster speeds but still I can feel the increased vibration in the accelerator pedal. Took to dealership and they recommended replacing differentials, and fluids. Paid for all to be completed and also rotated and balanced the brand new tires again, but the winding noise still continues to get worse. Anyone have a similar issue?

Why not take it right back to them and tell them they charged you a bunch of money and didn't fix your issue?
BTW: if it's a 2wd there is only one differential.

Lucky 99 - I read later on another post of the same situation. The gentleman also recommended the wheel bearings. One thing that struck me as odd is that when the transmission is switched to Neutral when the issue is noticable, all noise and vibration goes away. I rev the engine up to 4k rpm and no noticable winding or rough feeling on the gas peddle. Only when I put the car in Drive and accelerate do I hear the winding and rough feeling in the gas pedal. I agree with the other response that I should just take it back to the dealership.
