Truck pulls hard to the right when braking

I posted this before the hack and think it got lost as I can't find it.
My T4R pulls to the right when braking. The harder you stomp the hard it pulls.
I know it's supposed to pull to the right a bit, but this is to the point that it's dangerous, especially when going down a mountain pass.

Truck is lifted 2.25" all around and I'm on 285s (was also doing it with 265s). Alignment is correct except castor is only at 2.
I plan on getting UCAs soonish.

Any advice on what's causing an aggressive pull to the right?

Are all your brakes (pads, rotors, lines) in good shape, particularly on the left side?

My guess is you have stuck brake caliper pistons on the left side. It's happened to our FJ, twice. Here's a video describing the pull and how to fix it.

Would any of that have to do with the lift or tires?
Because if not I’ll have it looked at under warranty so there’s a record of the repair should this become a larger problem.

Check the upper controls arm bolts and lower control arm bolts, they are most likely loose causing your pull.

I don't know who ever said the above statement, but it shouldn't pull in either direction when applying brakes.

Have your calipers checked, upper & lower control arms.

If your lift was installed properly and your tires are in good shape, this is not the cause!

I was getting a pull to the right upon brake application. With about 120k on the clock, I put new calipers and rotors on all around along with front hoses. I figured that if I was pulling everything apart for new pads and rotors, I might as well do the calipers. I can now hammer on the brakes and track straight without touching the steering wheel.

Had this issue on a 2005 SR5.

My son said that he applied the brakes hard in traffic and heard a loud bang, followed by a sharp pulling to the right.

When I took the wheels off, the front left rotor had cracked circularly, where the disk meets the inner part that bolts to the hub.

So the disc was turning with the wheel, and the inner part of the rotor with the hub. That amounts to less that half of your front brake force being available, and a sharp pull to the right when you apply the brakes hard.

I'd never seen that type of failure prior.

sticky caliper = glazed pad. drive it a bit and then touch each wheel see which is the hot one. The side with both brakes operating properly are over powering the side with only 1 properly working brake, hence the pull.

This exact scenario played out in my dads jeep today.

It really shouldn't be a wear and tear thing. Truck has less than 8,500 miles on it. I barely drive during the week.
