True Flow Cleaner

Seeing that True Flow went out of business I'm wondering if I can use K&N foam cleaner and oil on my true flow filter. Any objections?

the oil should be fine, but can't you just find the cleaner, i heard somewhere else on a jeep forum you can still find that stuff, it just takes some work and knowing where to look.....have you tried looking for the og stuff yet?

Yeah. I did a google search and no luck for the OG cleaner. :crybaby:

K&N is made for gauze, True Flow is foam. I'd look for a cleaner for foam filters.

You can use any foam filter cleaner and oil. I use my dirt bike foam filter oil and cleaner. Works great! Maxima is the brand I use. Mineral spirits works great as a cleaner too.

Elton thaat stuff will work great. I know a few guys that use that for their dirt bikes. Works good

Thanks for all the replies. I saw that UNI stuff online too and I'm glad to see that ryani has tried it. Many of the True Flow links online don't work unfortunately. Sad about True Flow..
