Gauge install part 2

Everything is crimped and then soldered and heat shrunk.

Back side, didn't really care about plastidipping the back of the metal too much.

Tapped into the 12v cig lighter.

The two factory screws wasn't enough to keep it from bouncing, put a piece of bike tire between the braket to dampen the sound. I then drilled two little holes in the back, and put two more screws to make it even more legit. I like doing stuff once.

Time to drill a hole for the temp sensor lead.

All that is left to do is install the temp sensor on the transmission line. :lookout:

So I couldn't find a tee anywhere locally to install the temp sensor on... so I got crafty and made my own manifold.

I am a time vs money kinda guy and I can't justify driving all over town.

Pulled the 6061 aluminum rod out that I had, this is the first time I have ever made anything of this sort.

I am a very frugal person when it comes to buying stuff, got this volt meter for $6.65 from amazon shipped to my door.

Drilled a ton of tiny holes and then used a red hot razor blade to cut out the display spot. The display is press fitted into place, but also sandwiched with the knob on top so to say. Its very solid.
