Trunk Storage Options

I'm tired of all my mountain biking gear, among other crap, rolling around in the back of my truck. I was looking for ideas on storage bins, either custom or store bought. Has anyone used the Cargo Tote from Toyota? Its mostly just a couple helmets, gloves, some tools, cycling shoes. Ideas/ suggestions?

Actually i just found these at Bed Bath and Beyond. i picked up two for $10 each. I was surprised, they're fairly sturdy for what i need. Turns out I only needed one. They fold flat but the sides are rigid. Inside, I have 2 bike hlemets, 5 pairs of gloves (don't know I have 5 between me and my girlfriend), cycling shoes, wrench, bike lock cable, air compressor, jumper cables, another pair of shoes, blanket and a frisbee, because you shouldn't go anywhere without a frisbee haha.

I had a pic of what it looked like before, but it wont upload. So just imagine all the stuff in the bin scattered about the trunk

I'm thinking about making some custom nice storage but in the meantime I have a box and a tote - At least nothing is rolling : )

I thought of building a custom box too, maybe pull out drawers and a bin on top. I'll see how this goes for now. And for $10 I won't complain.

The Container Store!!! I will post pics of the back of my truck in the morning. I have a good setup and nothing rolls around. Ever. And it doesn't look cluttered either!

Sorry to post back to back, but just found these pics I had:

Built this myself. Sure, I could have bought one, but why pay $200-300 when I can build it with my custom dimensions and my choice of finish (plasti-dip throughout) for only $85?

Here's my lightweight, humble setup. Its not one of those homemade boxes (those rock, by the way) but it serves my purposes. I went to the Container Store and bought these totes and trays. The tote is low and holds the stuff I drive around with day to day, and the trays keep small transient cargo from rolling around I put the tiedown straps through the child seat loops. Between the straps and the containers, I can put anything back there and keep it secure. And it comes right out when I need to load up the truck with dog crates or whatever. Its usually loaded up with gear for kayaking, mountain biking, or various other outdoor ventures.

I just use a low slung, rectangular wicker basket. Great to hold all the crap from rolling around and also great to use when bring home stuff from Sam's Club and carrying in to house.
