Yes I have searched and several folks say they are made...


I want to run amber bulbs for my turn signal indicators within the (front) ARB Tacoma bumper. Therefore- I think I need clear lenses.

Eventually I hope to go to clear corner lenses for my parking lights and (thanks Ritzy) supplemental turn signals.

I have not been able to find them anywhere and was considering playing around with Lexan plastic and making my own.... (but I can spell cluster*&^%.....

suggestions please? link most appreciated

The picture in that thread of the 80 Series with homemade clear lenses was mine. I made mine from clear lexan from Lowes, a clear overhead light fixture diffuser panel from Lowes, and some weatherstrip to help prevent water from getting in the signal fixture.

I cut the pieces of diffuser and Lexan larger than the opening of the turn signal in the bumper, so that the edges of those pieces were hidden behind the bumper. The smooth lexan went in the front, followed by the difuser, then weatherstrip and the signal fixture. It was all connected using the original screws. (Take care not to tighten the screws too much or it will crack the lexan.)

The purpose of the diffuser was to give it a more OEM look, as opposed to just a clear piece of lexan. As you can see it looked pretty good and matched the other lenses on the truck pretty well.

Talked to him via email and he is setting us a business enterprise to produce these.

No real time table so just be patient....
