Does anyone know 304tmt personally? I've been in the car game a long long time, I've see these types of deals on forums that start out amazing, make big promises like this but then something bad happens and the OP disappears with a lot of people's money. I've been a victim of this in the past and it sucks.
Is there anything you can show us besides your less than one month old website with Paypal as the only payment method that this is indeed legit? Invoices or agreements with the company making these for you? What's going to happen if things go bad during production of this and people want their money back? Do the mods here allow these types of group buys?
Looking at the math here, seems like over 100 people signed up for this. Easily a 15k-18k haul if this turns out to be a scam.
I have no skin in the game. I don't even own a 4runner yet and not even a fan of replica parts, so probably wouldn't get this anyway. But just wanted to ask since I don't see anyone else questioning it.

I know the OP personally and have for some time now. I can tell you that you are 100% wrong and you pretty much wasted your time writing about it.
Your math is correct if this was a scam, however I can assure you it's not. No, I'm not buying one of these simply because I already have a pro grill. You should also know that the OP spent a lot of his own money, time, effort and dedication to this project. He went as far as buying a pro grill in order to have a template that would make the replica an almost exact match. Yes there are scammers out there and working in the field I work I see it all the time.

I mean I guess worst case scenario I have to put a claim in through paypal and take some time to get my money back. That's how I personally look at it. I guess to some people the 180 buck loss for the time it takes to get paypal to refund might suck. If you are struggling with 200 bucks you shouldn't be buying cosmetic car parts though.

Does anyone know if this insert will fit the bezel on a LE trim 4R? Seems to be the same size and shape as all the other models but personally haven't seen an LE rocking the "emblem delete" as a previous poster said... :biggrin1:

I think the limited already has a chrome garnish that works with the sombrero bean. It would most likely need to be removed first.
Do you have dimensions?

Your concerns are valid. I am sure that many people buying the internet have felt the same way. And I too have been a victim of a failed rockethub crowdfunding scam.
Because of those concerns I chose a very specific course. I have spent a lot of my own money on this project. I have setup a legitimate business with the City of Roseville. And chose to use paypal as the payment processor to give everyone involved an extra layer of security. This is just a small list of steps I have taken to provide everyone with the best experience possible.
If any buyers have any questions I would be more then happy to answer.

There is no set timeline for the letters at the moment. If you want to make an order separately, please put your username and that you want letters in the notes of the order. If we are able to get the letters back in stock before your order ships they will ship free. If not then you will have to pay separate shipping.

First test runs are done. Some minor adjustments and these will be perfect. Next test run on friday.
