Kevin and I were thinking of running Heartbreak Ridge this wknd. Do you access it off the 38? Also want to run Horsethief Flat since those are the only black diamonds in BB area I haven't run yet. :ear:

You can access off the 38 but the more common, and better way is to start at Pioneertown>Burns Canyon>Heartbreak ( when you come to the fork after the Pontiac it’s a loop to the top of the mountain. Right for harder, left for easier)
Make sure you get a early start as it can be a popular trail and a traffic jam on the loop would be downright sketchy

Thanks Al! Appreciate the heads up on the fork direction. I have a feeling it's gonna be crowded everywhere this weekend. Big Bear had a snowstorm overnight so maybe thinking go up Friday before it all melts. So how/where do you access it from the 38? For future reference.

Didn't get to do dishpan being that it got too late but the offshoots on cleghorn and pilot rock 2N17x is fun. I didn't get to do most of it last time veing only 2wd. Got some pix but kids fot lazy. Nice! Down for Dishpan in June? I'm leading a group through White Mountain Memorial weekend. Waiting to see if anyone drops out but right now the group is bigger than I wanted it to be.
Those cam tabs are beef! My steering wheel hasn't moved the last 2 times out since I put them on and I can't say I've been exactly easy on it either. I used to knock my alignment every single run out.
