Tundra 5100s and Eibach

Ok so I wanted to make sure I had everything as this is my first lift attempt myself. I did alot of research on here and want to make sure I have everything I need. Part list down below and also wondered if I needed anything special to mount the front tundra bilstein 5100s. Thanks everyone

Front set up
Tundra Bilstein 5100s w/ Toytec/Eibach 3" Coils

Rear set up
Toytec Superflex coils w/ Bilstein long travel shocks

also bought the Panhard drop and Diff drop.

The rear I'm pretty sure I'm good just unsure of mounting the Tundra billys on and I've never put coils or shocks on so will have to do some research on installing them and need to find a spring compressor...

You'll want to get some good spring compressors. Them Eibachs require quite a bit of compression. Be careful. If you've never done this before, here's a quick tip. Unbolt the 4 bolts under the LBJ that attach it to the LCA. Then, you can easily push the LCA down to mount the new shock eye bolt. Just be sure to put some locktite on the LBJ bolts before your re-attach them. Keep an eye on your CV boots after lift installation.
 
I never did it either, but wasn't to bad. I also used the el'cheapo Harbor Freight coil spring compressors. They work alright, but did have some major bend in them. You can rent some at Autozone, return them when you're done, and get all your money back.
 
I just did the tundra 5100/ Eibach install last week, had them set on the first setting but this weekend I put them up to the second notch and it gave me the stance I wanted without effecting the ride.

Do you have any pics? I appreciate all the info. I was going to buy spring compressors but I think I'll go the auto zone way as I won't use them much. I'll have to do more research. Do I need to use the spring compressor to take out the original set up in the front or to just install the coil on the new billy?

This is the only pic I took on the lowest setting. It's hard to tell from the pic but the rear is 2.5" higher then the front.

For the original shocks to save some time and not use the spring compressor, I removed the nut on the top plate first than lowered the a arm before pulling it out.
 
Not to start a new thread but i have the Tacoma billies (3 notch) on the lowest setting and the toytec eibach, are they supposed to be this stiff? I can understand the tundras being stiff because of the extra weight but the tacomas? Are these made for additional weight? I know its no Cadillac but come on its worse than my old struts with what looks like all 280k miles on them. Ive also changed all my ball joints and tie rods.

that looks great. You running 285s? I can't wait should be in Friday but I'm headed to Florida for a week so as soon as I get back I'm throwing them on. I guess I'll watch some YouTube to figure out how to do this.
 
Here is mine running Tundra 5100s and Eibachs on the second perch. It gave me about 3 1/2" in the front, but I'm 2wd.

 
Im running Tundra 5100s and Eibachs on the second perch. Full armor has brought it down to about 3 inches. A hair over 23" hub to fender if I remember correctly. 9 wraps in the rear if your curious

Nice looking rig. I'll post some before and after in a couple weeks. Can't wait to get it done. Almost as excited to be back from vacation as I am about going lol. What are u running out back? Was the front pretty easy to do?

Thanks. I never actually assembled mine. I knew people with shops so I got it done free. But I've done other coilovers and its never been bad. LC 9 wraps in the rear. Although 9 wraps give you 5 inches of rear lift. So unless your running a ton of rear weight like me you will have alot of rake

I paid the 100 to just have them built. Well worth it to me now to have to bother with the springs. It will make the install go alot easier and quicker also. Now to order tires and wheel spacers

I also bought the taco billies thinking those were the right ones with the eibachs... but my ride is super stiff and ive got about 24" hub to fender. The person that did my lift put it on the second setting and it didnt have any travel cuz it was lifted so much. So I redid it and put it on the first setting.
