Sorry to keep flogging this, but I've looked at posts till my eyes are fuzzy and I don't see where anyone has put Tundra brakes on an 02 T4R with 16" Pacer wheels. It looks like stock calipers have close to 3/8" clearance between them and the inside of the wheel, but only aout 1/8" between the caliper and the portion of the wheel closest to the lug nuts, reaching thru the holes. The wheel tapers in toward the hub and the aluminum is very thick. Has anyone run into this ?? I absolutely do Not want to get into turning or trimming anything to make them fit.
Not sure of the exact # of my wheels, but they look like the Pacer 162M with 12 holes.
I would prefer to use the 231mm calipers, but have no problem with the 199mm if that's all that will fit - if they'll fit.
Also, I'll be working alone if/when I go ahead and have no one to help, so I'll probably use pressure bleeding from the caliper up. Do you know of any problems with that ?? In my experience with other cars, it gives a faster, easier, more positive bleed.
