Tundra/sequoia split 5 spoke wheels on 2wd (or unlifted) 4runner?

I know they fit, but if I wedge 245/70x17 BFG All Terrains on 'em will they be too much for an unlifted 2wd 2001 4runner. I've seen pics of them with 31.5 x 10.50 and 3 inch lifts and they look and work great apparently. The tire size I'm going for is smaller (30.5 x9.5,) but the whole thing may still be too big without a lift? Anybody got some of these wheels/tires on an unlifted 4runner...asking for a 2wd picture is probably too much!

My 4Runner back in 2009, unlifted, 2WD, and 265/70/17 (31.6") BFG all terrains.

Needless to say, I wanted to lift it afterwards. It worked just fine.

For reassurance I too have a 2wd 97 and had 265/70/17 with no lift and they worked perfect. No issues at all

Well, I wrapped 'em in Hankook Dynapro ATM 265/65R17 tires. It turned out to be just what I was hoping for!
