tune up question

so with the winter season approaching soon.. I need to give my rig some love..

first will be the timing belt kit.. I know this been cover so many times but I'm debating between the two kit

is there anything that one have but the other doesn't?

if not, which kit would you recommend for it?

secondly. my valve cover gasket has an little sip from here and there..

I don't know where to start on this one...

should I go for the oem gasket? who's the maker of it? is there an particular one I should stick with?

thirdly.

my front brakes and rear is due for an tune up also.

brembo? ate?

I might need to replace the rotor also.. if not, should I resurface it? or replace the pads and rotors? the rears shoes are probably due too..

fourthly,

front diff, rear diff ,transmission and transfer case could use some loving also.. last time I had it change was around 200k.. now, I'm at about 267k.. is 67k too much for the diff oil, and tranny? whats the average life of synthetic fluid? currently, I'm running Mobil 1 75w90.. can it be push more or change it out while doing the timing belt ?

I would 100% pay the $50 for OEM parts - don't hesitate. It's $50 for extra piece of mind.

If you have the cash, you could always do the Tundra brake upgrade since you need rotors anyway.

Use Redline fluids in the differentials and transfer case - 75w90 GL5. You will need 5 quarts: Red Line Oil Transmission Gear Oil GL 5 75W90 5 x Quarts 57904 | eBay

Either kit will work, choose whichever one makes you sleep soundly.

Try tightening up the valve cover bolts first (not too tight) before changing them out. OEM here.

Brembo blanks and OEM, Performance Friction, Akebono, or Hawk for the front pads. OEM shoes for the rear and nothing else IMHO. Valvoline, Castrol, Prestone for the fluid.

I'd just keep using the Mobil 1 gear oil and ATF if you are using it as well. I'd change it out by 275K miles.
