Turn signal not working? Std trouble shooting isn't working

Drivers rear bulb won't flash. Swapped bulb from Passenger side, and the bulb is good.

Only found one fuse under hood for flashers/ signals.

Front bulb works.

Any ideas?

Do you have access to a DVOM and the wiring schematics, because you may need to further test the circuit at this point.

Yeah. I have one. I was hoping it was a common problem.

Think I should start at the flasher relay and go back (probably with a test light) or check at the tail light housing and go back a little?

Start at the taillight and work your way forward.

I had the same problem with my '06 when I first got it (rear passenger side). As I looked into it, I realized the housing was an aftermarket replacement. After troubleshoting it some it became obvious the problem was with the internal circuit board used for the "LED" effect. I ended up having to replace the whole taillight.

x2' it could simply be corrosion in the socket or a break in a wire.

Easiest place to check is the bulb socket for power and ground, then work your way back.

Thanks everyone for the replies. My gut instinct was to start where it was "known good" and work back...

But what's the point in asking if I don't take your advice right?
Well... I'm glad I listened. I pulled the tail light out established where ground was in the pig tail and the first conductor I tested was blinking. "Great!" I said.... And then I wondered what the friggen problem was. So I put it all back together....

And it works....

Yeeeeeeah.... So, hey.... I'll take it I guess. Just kinda wish I knew why it wasn't working before.

Well, it appears the little contacts are not engaging consistently.

Pressed the remote and it worked loaded kids in the are (opened and shut doors) and then it didn't work. Jimmy's the twisty connector and it works. So.... That's the problem. Hooray! Now I can sleep.

Hazards and Turn Signals not working

Similar problem. Long story short my front passesnger bulb burned out, when trying to remove the bottom of the bulb housing got stuuck and just the glass part of the bulb was removed. I put it back in the socket and drove to autozone to get a new bulb. By then both the hazards and turn signals did not work completely. I swapped the flasher module located under the steering column and still did not work. The socket does look burnt. At this point I'm dumbfounded. Could it be the socket that is causing all 4 turn signals not to work?
