I have an 85 4runner and 87 4runner for sale in Eastern North Carolina, near Greenville. The 85 has a superlift 4" lift, 4.88 gears, 22re with LC engineering header and custom exhaust, Centerforce clutch, 32" bridgestone Duellar AT's, Wet Okole interior, and a ton more stuff. Runs great, head gasket and valves done 10k miles ago. Has 204k miles total. Thats the good. The Bad: Rust. Normal rust for a 4runner, and some weird stuff going on on the roof. Heres why it comes with an 87: Its the same color and rust free. Completely. Small prang in front radiator support, slight corrosion where battery sat, but thats it. No engine, trans, interior. Just a body on the frame, ready to be plucked off and put where the rusty body is currently sitting. I will also throw in a very low mileage 22re shortblock, a very high mileage 5MGE longblock that needs cams, a full red SR5 interior from 4 runner, a new hood, a new fender, and a Detroit Softlocker. If you are looking for a good project, with all you need to get going, here it is. The 85 can be driven anywhere, everything works except the cruise control. A/C could use some freon, but she fires every time. I would like to get 2500.00 for the whole shebang, which if you add it all up, with the time it would take to put all this stuff in one place, is a deal.
