Two Navigation Map Questions

2013 4Runner Trail with OEM radio.

Lately when I enter a destination I can't save it. I must be forgetting or overlooking a step. Tried the manual, no luck. :rtfm:
Suggestions?

Resolved after 30 minutes in a hot garage --
The save function was grayed out. No messages; I took a guess and deleted a few entries. It works now, it must have a storage limit. !@#$%&**

The free WAZE app for smart phones is better and it updates free often . Have used it for years.

Likewise for Google Maps or Apple Maps. I've used Google Maps for years too, and it works better than any built in navigation systems I've had in any car.
