The issue is school kids are NOT allowed to talk about God, pray at school, or taught about sanctity of life. Nor are they taught that once you pass from this life you will be responsible for your actions to your Maker.

i agree with most of what you said, all but the bolded section.
nobody but the shooter is responsible. regardless of where the weapons came from. a gun in a safe is worthless if you NEED it.

we need more firearm education. something we used to have, and at the same time we didn't have nearly as many of these stupid shootings. coincidence? I don't think so.
 
I'll say it out loud.......Would I give up my many Guns to save one child's life?..............No! I would not. I won't give up Any of my Rights for some random person in the World. My priority is MY family and protecting them and their Rights. Guns are a fact of life and will not disappear from the American scene in my lifetime because the criminals will have them long after the Government has attempted to confiscate mine if it comes to that due to a Libtard majority taking over. Given that reality I don't see any point entertaining this nonsense of ''Banning Guns will save the Children'' crap..........:crazy:

The problem is, giving up your guns is not going to save lives, it is just going to make honest people not have guns. These people that kill people will kill someway, somehow.

Kids want to pray at school? I am by no means an atheist, but I don't think that religion(or the lack of it) in school is the problem. With the religiously diverse student bodies that make up modern American school systems, I think it works better to keep it out.

Not sure what "American" is to you, but at this point the name Abdul is as commonly American as John. The kid has a Greek name. Sounds plenty Euro-descent white to me.

Blaming social media is as silly as blaming guns IMO. Plenty of kids use that stuff and it has its benefits. The more you hide this stuff from kids, the more they will find sneaky ways around it. I couldn't imagine high school without my phone and social media. It isn't 1993 anymore; we use cell phones and social media.

Just playing devil's advocate. Hopefully this thread doesn't spiral out of control and get locked. Wouldn't be surprised if it did.

On another note:

I do think that parents of shooter(s) who do NOT lock up their guns properly SHOULD be held accountable. There are plenty of good gun safe out there that locks up gun AND yet still allow quick access. No excuse.

At least, for people like me, President Trump is trying to keep his end of the bargain. He may not succeed at every part, but he is trying. There have been very few "surprises" from him.

Blame game? UNLIKE you, who blamed Bush for a limp Presidency under Obama, i don’t blame Obama for anything. In fact, i like to highlight the cowardice of prior President to show the ignorance in YOUR statements.

Compare and contrast are excellent tools to highlight what Trump has accomplish. I don’t blame Obama at all!! Your misunderstanding of my point is YOUR problem, not mine. Thank goodness, we have an effective leader now.

But given what Trump has accomplish thus far, even without comparing to past limp President, i would say that he has been quite effective.

And yes, i am delighted by how independent this President is from the prior Presidents.
 
I think my regret for Trump's agenda so far is how the Republicans are protecting their own agenda at the expense of getting things done....things that can only be done in the brief window before the Libtards come storming back. They are ''Fiddling while Rome burns'' IMO. All these indoctrinated youth have come of age and the March to Socialism is at the Gates.......The Republicans who have thwarted Trump have destroyed us all.:rockthrow:
 
I heard a depressing stat today that twice as many children have been shot in school shootings so far this year than service people have died in combat related death...
Meaning high schools are statistically more dangerous than war.
