Thanks man.
They are the corbeau sport seats. A bit stiff but still ok. I sort of wish id gotten the baja seats as they seemed more comfortable but I don't know if they would have fit properly.

I was wondering how comfortable they were. I'm looking to replace mine as after long road/wheeling trips the stock seats get uncomfortable quick. I was considering the bajas but the look huge and not sure how tight they would be in the runner. I guess I could measure.. duh.
The sports look like they fit perfectly and are a nice match.

The sport seats are a nice fit but they are still a little wide. They do hit the door pocket when pushed forward. They are comfy to me but they are firmer than factory style seats. I think it is better for active driving though because you are a little more in tune with the vehicle over a cushy sloppy caddy type seat but for long or supper bumpy washboard driving they may get uncomfortable.
The baja seats are suspension seats and had the cushier caddy feel to your bottom but they are deeper like sitting into a bowl so they still give good support for active driving. The issues are they shape and mount angles may not work right or fit properly but I didn't try fitting them so who knows. I did try sitting in them though so I have an idea from that standpoint.

Yes sir. Saves about $250. This sale is pretty much what I was waiting for to buy skids.

I think your best options that would look good are either black to match the rest of your armor or the tan color of your truck.

Finally back doing some chores on the truck tonight. First up was replacing the front O2 sensor. This is the one in front of the cat converter. I'm replacing due to a recurring P0133 code I get here and there.
I ordered a denso from amazon for around $45. It looks slightly different than the stock one but is the model number given by denso as the replacement for my 97 runner. This model is for a 97 ltd 4wd with auto transmission and for the upstream o2 bank. You can search in the reference link below to get the correct model number for your year model, transmission style and what not.

O2 Sensor location. I'm laying on floor looking up just behind the steering rack and on the passenger side of the transmission. The nuts are 12mm and there is a replaceable seal that comes with the new sensor:

Plug on replacement is direct plug into factory harness:
Factory harness is up near transmission. You get the plug to come out by inserting a screw driver under the tab visible on the top side of the plug in this picture. The tab has to lift away from the plug to clear the small nub visible on the picture before this one:
I've just finished this project and all told it took about 5 to 10 minutes. I took longer to post this post than the do the actual swap. Hope these posts and pictures help others along the way. Cheers!

Yeah try doing that on a truck from pa...it takes a five minute ordeal and turns it into about a 5 hour pita. I hate rust.
Loving your truck man, I admire your patience. To put all the work and money you have into it and youve hardly driven it, much less offroaded it.

Thanks. This project is just a diversion to keep me from spending money with the likes of Noveske, Bravo Co, and Rainier. I spent 2 years up there with a land rover and remember the driving environment. I love snow, but boy do I hate snow. LOL
Just finished putting the new Sonoran Steel rear lower control arms on and the new Toyota rear upper control arms. You guys know by now that I'm snap happy with the iPhone so here are a few pictures.
The spots on the edges are not chips by the way, it's where the packing paper stuck to the paint a little.
Next up are the new rear sway bar toyota bushings, toyota rear links and Sonoran Steel rear body mounts. Not sure if I'll get to all of it tonight, but will give it my best shot.
Once I get these items all on, I think I'm done with suspension work other than just double checking the torque settings on all the bolts front and rear after a little driving. :heh:

Got the rear control arms in and all of the rear torqued to spec, including the previously installed shocks and panhard bar, but didn't get the rear sway work done as it turns out I'm missing two bushings for the links. Will try to get them tomorrow to finish up the rear tomorrow night.
txbonds -- just curious -- have you been measuring your mpg at all before the 02 sensor replacement? I had intermittent p0133's as well but I didn't swap the upstream 02 yet since I'm measuring about 20mph highway on 87 gas. $50 isn't bad for the part though, but I don't feel the need to replace mine, haven't seen the p0133 for months now. I know if it's bad, it will really hit the fuel economy.

I noticed it dropping to about 15 when I get the code but staying around 19 on highway when code is gone. I will say that I put 89 gas in last time and it improved my engine performance and smoothed it out under acceleration. Also noticed less code occurrence with 89 gas. I'll report back tomorrow on if the o2 sensor change makes any noticeable difference though.
