Tyres Question

Hi,
If you had a choice, which size tyres would you fit yoyr 3VZE:

15/235/75 SST

or

15/255/70 ART

These are Cooper tyres!

Its spelled tires. And you would want 31/10.5/15, taking its a second gen 4runner.

In a lot of countries, it is indeed "tyres" from the British influence.

I would go for the 235x75x15's.....or, even consider the 30x9.5x15! Pretty sure Cooper would make this size.

Tyres...Simex, and Nokian was where I first saw that spelling.

I already have 15/235/75 Hankook tyres on . I was thinking of getting wider ones like 255/70. Cooper has these in ATR version, while the previous ones are S/T.

How about changing from size 15 to 16 ???

Gotcha...I'd look at the 30x9.5 or 31x10.5 (I run 31's, factory option) then. 16" rim typically get's you into a different load rating tires (D or E) which is more suited for heavier vehicles or if you're carrying weight the majority of the time -- lots of camping, with a few hundred pounds of gear for example....towing trailer....or camper, if you have a PU.

Just my $0.02....I know lots that are moving to 16 and 17" rims on lighter vehicles now...just not my recommendation.
