U joint service

I have a 2014 Trail edition. Are the front u joints serviceable? My dealership oil change people swear there are no u joints in the front but I know there is I have seen them during many of my trips underneath. Thanks.

Front U-joints

Do you have any pics?
Are we discussing front drive/propeller shaft U-joints or the LH& RH CV joints inside the rubber boots?
Unless the CV rubber boots are torn or noisy, probably no service needed.
The drive shafts front (and rear) should have their U-joint zerk fittings lubed regularly.

This. The front half shafts (for 4WD) are CV (constant velocity joints). The propeller/driveshaft out of the transfer case and up to the front differential is U joints (again 4WD, and have zerk fittings for regular greasing).

Yes, 2014 Trail edition has serviceable Universal Joints (U-Joints). 4WD has 4 and 2WD has 2 of them.

While you are greasing the U-joints on each driveshaft, you might as well put a few pumps in the 2 slip yokes.
