UCA install only w/KDSS - process?

I'm looking at replacing my UCAs now that I have the lift. Should have done it during the lift install, but was hoping the stock ones would work.

Do I have to mess with the KDSS mounts or coil over if I'm only changing the UCAs?

In looking at some of the other threads and YouTube videos, it seems like it was a fairly straight forward process in that the coil over didn't appear to be touched.

Nope, no need to touch the coilovers or the KDSS. Just separate the spindle from the UCA ball joint, remove the through bolt on the UCA, and replace with new ones. Be sure to support the spindle assembly and don't stretch the ABS wires.

You will also need to disconnect the hard A/C line on the passenger side to get the UCA bolt out/in. It's pretty straightforward and you will know exactly where it is once you get to a point where you can no longer pull out the bolt. Also, I would recommend coating the bolt with anti-sieze before reinstalling it.
