I have a set on my 01. They do what they are supposed to do. I bought mine to correct castor after lift.
 
Just so everyone knows, Toytec will price match anyone on the LR UCA's. All you have to do is call Toytec and mention that fat bob sells them for $379.99 and Toytec will sell them to you for that price.

Well worth the money IMO. They can adjust camber as well as caster.

I plan to get them as soon as funds become available. Not only do they correct caster, they allow you to put 285/75/16s on stock wheels without worrying about the UCA rubbing.
 
It says that the ball joint is OE style, so is that joint only from light racing ? or can a ball joint be had from somewhere else that will work in the uca ?
 
OE style, but it is a LR specific part where it mounts up to the arm. I called them and asked prior to buying mine. I was told that they have yet to have anyone call to get one replaced, but when/if they do, they will warranty it.

The ball joints are basically the same but a lot beefier Toytec sells replacement ball joints for $11-12 each.

I have been running a set for the past year and I love them. They are well built and if the ball joints are to ever go bad they're inexpensive to replace. I haven't tried running snow chains up front but there looks to be plenty of room for chains to clear. Another benefit is I don't have issues with my 315/70R17's rubbing the frame when fully cocked.

have a ball joint press and 4wd adaptor kit + a pickle fork to destroy old ball joint

make sure all your parts are included (my truck is parked because toytec didnt send a part and i didnt realize untill i had everything taken apart)

have someone help, a few things will require more hands, i did one side by myself though so it can be done

just did this on Thur/Fri well mostly done
jack up truck
take off wheels
remove brackets for brakes/abs off the uca
loosen long bolt holding uca on (bolts need to be pulled out from engine bay)
separate ball joint
press ball joint out
remove uca (long bolt now comes out)
press in new ball joint thing
install uca with long bolt
set the ball joint to whatever caster you want ( i did "D" which is 0 )
install ball joint
tighten uca
tighten top nut (32mm)
wheels back on
slam bam done, get alignment
