Another option is the Rigid SR-Q2 Hyperspot. That what I run on mine I like them because they are low profile.
Thats a great light for that location. Its a flat version of the D2!

Does anybody have a set up of a ditch light and a road spot dual set up?
Very Interested to see how these brackets mount and if there are any
modifications that need to done to the wiper cowl area.
Just placed an order for the brackets about 2 mins ago. I'm hoping I don't experience a significant gap. Can you guys get these out right away please!! Shippiñg seems a bit extreme but hopefully I receive them fairly quick.
Order is currently being submitted to CBI! Its what we are charged for freight from the manufacturer, box is bigger than youd expect for such small brackets but its because of their awkward shape. Will send tracking asap :keyboard:
They mount under the hood to the hood hinge hardware. Check this out!

Just purchased a set of these, any idea on how to prevent theft on the lights?
Wow, these ditch lights are cool… guess that's another item to add to my shopping list!
BTW, years ago when I first got into off-roading, CA law said you had to have covers on your off-road lights when on the road. Is that still true?
I'm planning on putting a set of ditch lights on my TE. I'm going to use them more for throwing light forward than to the ditches. I'm torn between the Rigid D2 spots and hyper spots. Can any one give me an idea of the beam difference? Google has not been helpful in finding a picture to compare them.
