Ultragauge won't power on.

Just got an Ultragauge for my '99 4Runner from group buy on TW. I plugged it in and it doesn't power up. I tested it in my Tacoma and it works fine. tested all the fuses in the 4runner and none are blown. Support said to check pin 16 for power with a multimeter so am going to do that tonight. If that's not the problem does anyone know what else could be causing it to not get power?

Check the fuse for the OBD. It's in the fuse box in your engine compartment, and should be a 7.5 amp fuse.

I did check all the fuses, in the cab and under the hood. None of them looked blown but I'll check again. any idea what it's labeled as? I looked for one that said it was for OBD2 but couldn't tell which one it was. In the cab i found a 7.5 for ECU something...I thought that might have been it but that fuse is fine as well.

Should be one of the small blade fuses in the middle of the box. I can't remember if it is labeled the OBD or not. I do know it should be the only 7.5 amp fuse in that box though. Do you have a regular OBD scanner that you can plug in to see if it works? Maybe swing by an Autozone to see if their scanner will power on or not.

Good to hear. Let me know how this works. I'm think of either this or the ScanGuage.
