Under hood liner cleaning for a sport 06

What's the best way to clean the underhood lining of a sport 06. What you see are water spots that I'm assuming from a leakage from the hood scoop or water flinging up from near the belts. Don't know exactly but would like some advice on getting this cleaned up.

I have not gotten to my '07 Limited yet, but here's what I did on my Corvette:

* Gently remove the retainers, being careful not to damage them so you can re-use them.

* Take the liner and place it flat on a table and brush off any debris that can be brushed.

* Make sure you have no loose areas or hanging fibres.

* Choose a coresponding color of paint, Krylon or better is your BEST CHOICE

* Cover the surface well and allow to dry.

* Repeat this process at least three times for best results (total of 4 coats)

* Re-install liner and enjoy.

P.S. You can even paint a design or emblem....or T4R.ORG on the liner for a personal touch.
