Underbody plastic cover for oil drain bolt

So within the past few weeks with all the nasty weather, my plastic cover for the oval hole where you drain the oil fell off. Anyone know what the part number is and where I can get one cheap? I know it's not really necessary, but I prefer to have it on.

Wow- I did not know that there was supposed to be a cover over the drain plug. I have a 06 and an 07 (both bought used) both missing the cover. Does it usually just fall off or does it get left off during oil changes?

Thanks for this. I need two as well. Any chance I can get a part number on that underbody piece that connects the bumper and the skid plate? I have an 07 sr5 4wd if that matters.

I have the V6 and asked the a couple of dealers for the part. Apparently it only comes with the whole assembly (according to them).

EDIT: partznet has it for $15.47. Apparently this will fit our 1GRFEs. Part number matches the cover for the FJ (same V6). Interesting to see this cover fits so many models. Nice (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Gonna order it. My OCD will not allow me to continue on without it.

I'm also missing it on my 05 SR5 didn't even know there was a cover for it.

I ordered my body mount bushings from them and the shipping wasn't too insane, though I don't remember exactly how much it was. What shocked me is that it was international and they got it to me in 3 days and at an affordable rate.

Thanks. I bought it from the dealer. Wouldn't have bothered other than I will be installing a Fumoto drain at my next oil change and want to do all possible to keep grit & debris from getting to it. Probably overkill but that's my middle name when it comes to my 'Runner.

I have the fumoto on my Civic (I change my oil 2-3 times a year, my Runner about once a year), and love it. I'm also contemplating fitting one for my rig.

EDIT: NOTE: The fumoto adds about 2-3 inches to the drain, will installing the drain cover still possible? I'm not sure about the clearance between the drain bolt and the cover.

I've had the fumoto valve installed since new and have had no clearance issues.

Oh, I'm stupid like that with my Runner. I'll spend big on stupid things, but those things are worth it to me. I justify it as "makes me happy".

I once saw a TV piece about a restored K-car...it was on one of those real automotive TV shows...and it was something else! The work it takes to restore something that is not a classic is nuts.
