Who else beside Jaos makes quality underguards for 4th gen. 4runners? Ive been lookin on the internet and the only one I have seen is Jaos, but It looks like it more for cosmetics then protection.

Currently Downey Offroad is the only shop that sells aftermarket skid plates. This skid plate is a direct stock replacement (which means it replaces the two piece design of the Toyota one to a single piece design).

This skid does not cover the Transmission Pan though. Please be aware of this.

I am currently finalizing my skid design and will be test fitting on several different models. I hope to have something soon.

Shrockworks has designed a front skid plate but you'd have to buy the bullbar to go with it

Also note Stubbs makes the tansfer case skid plate.

Does the Downey Offroad skid plates protect the rear and the gas tank? And does anyone make rear skid plates that does not interfere with the park distance control?
