Universal Joint Advice

I have a bad U-joint and figured while I'm at, I might as well replace all three. I'm thinking of going with Moog's, but there's 3 different options:
Premium
Super-strength, greaseable
Super-strength, non-greaseable

I don't do much offloading at all as she's mainly my DD. Does this mean that the Premium U-joint would probably be my best option?

Also, will I need a press for installing the new U-joints?

A press for installing and usually a torch for removing them. Ujoints are a PITA, but my love for u joints might be influenced by rust...

All 3? Which ones are you doing? Your truck should have 4-5. 2 in the rear shaft, then 2 or 3 in the front depending if its a cardan joint by the t case.

My vote would be greasable, I always throw a pump of grease into mine when I'm working under my runner.

I was thinking the front drive shaft only had one U-joint. This will be my first U-joint experience. I'll have to climb under tomorrow and take a look see. Thanks for calling out my retardedness.

Your current ones could be greasable? If there not bad, I dont see a reason to replace them, just pump some new grease in each one and go.

U joints arent that bad to do. the biggest thing is to clean all the dirt and old grease before you start. check the cap bores for dings. use a die grinder to make sure the caps will slide out easy. I never use a press it is too easy to spring your yokes. I use a vise and a hammer. if everything is clean and burr free once the caps move they should come out easy if you make sure and not bind anything. you do need a torch with the new shafts that the caps are held in place with injected plastic
