Real nice trip you have going there, you are really putting down some miles. There are a lot of bald eagles along that section of river north of gunnison to crested butte. I like the route that you are zig zagging across. Hope it continues to go well. If you need any kind of assistance while you are in southwest I'd be glad to help. Kind of a long way from anything once you get over here.

Update...

Well plans changed yesterday. Some of my family is elderly and didn't make turkey day. So I went to Junction for a little visit.

The route I took. I really wanted to head south but between wolf creek pass and the route up past durango it would have really been a push to make it back home to MO on Monday and still function.

Well I made it back home with no issues. Denver to Springfield in 12.5 hours. Not to shabby. All do a total mile count in the morning but I think I ran over 2000 miles this trip. Other than running out of gas because of the Guage the Runner did great.

Ah man those Leadville pictures make me miss it big time! Leadville is goofy but for some reason I'm pretty sure it's where I'll end up again.

Totally Agree with CO-! Leadville is awesome. Get up there multiple times a year, by far my favorite is the fireworks show for 4th of July. Glad you had a good trip out here!
