Tires, wheels, drivetrain, suspension, interior, Entune, speaker install or anything else. We will go through the questions, pick the most pertinent ones and start answering!

UPDATE:
The first topic our group will address will be lifts and tire sizes from a total novice point of view. We will discuss, in steps, what is required to lift and run plus size tires, from all different lift options all the way to keeping your tires from rubbing. We will also discuss all the pros and cons of each phase of the lift and lift kits from spacers to Icon Stage XXX.

This is going to be quite a project so different team members will take a certain portion of the process, write it up, have the rest of the team review it for content and then we will publish. I listed the team members in the other Introduction post ( some really smart guys) so be sure to thank these guys! Hopefully we can have something that will be a peer reviewed guide for the 4Runner Lift and tire upsizing. I will keep you guys updated on the progress in this post. Would also be nice to know some variables such as which wheel offset is least likely to get you rub on the 4R (stock wheels) vs running aftermarket. How spacers affect this dynamic, etc.

What can I do about this nose dive (lunging forward when stopping)?

1. What is KDSS, how does it work, and what are the advantages/disadvantages to the system?

2. How do the 4WD systems differ between SR5, Trail/TRD, and Limited models?

3. What are the advantages and disadvantages of aluminum and steel armor?

4. Can I install HID's/LED's on my 4Runner? (this one should be fun)

5. What pressure should my tires be set to? (load rating specific)

6. "I have a Trail, with a lot of 4WD buttons. How do they all work, and when should I use them?"

Regarding DuraTrac tires, why are the maximum speed, maximum load, and maximum air pressure, higher for the 265/70R17 SL then the LT265/70R17 C.

To add onto Cymon's suggestion, suspension upgrades to address body roll/nose dive that don't lift the truck.

Since a common response to a thread started by a newbie is "Use the search function", maybe a sticky tutorial on tips and tricks for advanced searching might be a good addition. Say I do a normal search for "UCA installation" I get hundreds of hits on threads telling me how to install everything from LED bulbs to 3rd row seats. Just a thought for those that aren't so computer savvy.
