Upgrades?

So I am on leave for the next 3 weeks, I am having surgery Wednesday, but other than that I ain't really got anything to do. I was going to build a new box for my subs but Birchwood is too expensive so I figured I would ask you all for some easy, inexpensive mods, like the Deckplate mod that I can do while I am on leave.

I plan on doing the Deckplate and possibly the Retro fit projectors. But do you all know of any other good stuff to do? Performance and Cosmetic.

Nice Rig Man. and I have the same question. I am looking for inexpensive, easy and quick mods for exterior. Also I am looking to see if there is anything I can do about the terrible cup holders in the 3rd Gen. ANYTHING-

Yeah theres a mod for it. You have to swap out the e brake handle from a 99(?) I think and re-biuld like .5 the center console but in the end you have 2 bad a cup holders I'll see if I can find a linkey for you on the mod

You could paint the chrome grill to the same color as your car and throw some mesh in there

You could also take off your emblems and paint them black. That's another common mod, but I'm not sure how it might look on your red 4runner.

I was going to do that but I accidentaly bought a chrome grill on the ebay, so I geuss I will be installing that when it gets here. Maybe doing some "custom" wk on it

Yeah I found that thread in my searching, I think I am going to remove the intake silencer and do the deckplate, maybe the running boards and install that grill. I think I am going to try to debadge while I am at it

some oem 99-02 headlights ? paint the center caps to match install some driving lights on the bumper ?

Thanks for all the help guys. I am a little hesitant to take on the cup holder mod alone in fear of messing it all up. any way around that haha? and what is debadging? Also what kind of paint could the yota emblem be painted with. I have a Black T4R so... thanks again gentlemen.

Well I am planning on retro fitting the headlights anyway, but thats a though, I plan on getting the wheels powdercoated if I can get ahold of the guy that does it here, (black) and as I was falling asleep lastnight I thought about driving lights,

anygood one I should look for? You all have preferences? Link to someone who did it before in a 96?

i have hella 700ff with 100w bulbs cause there not too expensive and they work quite well
