Ok, so its been a long and frustrating week. I have replaced most of the corroded suspension components on the front end, and got a few extra goodies. And here are the pictures to prove it.

New UCA's, LCA's, Ball Joints (Upper and Lower), Wheel Bearings, and 8 fresh control arm bushings:

And last but not least, a rooftop cargo basket

Drew,

First off, I miss you. (no homo)

2nd, the new mods look sick! The paint on the control arms turned out great!

3rd, where did you take it to get the upper ball joints pressed in?

4th, did you get the front coil overs cranked up more? looks bigger in these pics!

And lastly, lets go wheeling ASAIGMRF (As Soon As I Get My Rig Fixed!)

YES! glad to see that im not the only one using the "no homo" phrase!

How tall is your garage door and does the 4runner still fit in there?

Im not sure what the height of my garage door is, but suprisingly i still have 2-3 inches of clearance even with the basket on!

I like the stance! What lift are you running?

Thanks! Im running a 1.5 inch body lift and a SS 1.2

I took the steering knuckles and ball joints to an auto parts machine shop in Golden, they pressed them in for 20 bucks.

Nope, i still need to get them turned up a notch or two, im not sure if i can do it with a regular old spring compressor or not, im too nervous to try. oh, and i dont have one anyway

Hurry the eff up and fix your 4runner. The snow is coming.

this smiley is BA :gun4:

I'm curious as to why you went with new factory UCA's, I would think since I was going through the hassle of replacing everything I would go aftermarket.

I got the whole front suspension for 60 bucks. Upper, Lower, and steering knuckles. Being a poor 20 yr old, i figured that was a better idea then spending 2-3k for a long travel kit
