Upgrading my shocks

My shocks are worn out and i need some more.

When people upgrade these what else do they usualy buy? i see people talking about coils and struts.

could someone explain to me? I dont wanna order the wrong parts.

And does anyone know what a guestimate of what most shops would charge for labor? thanks

Am i supposed to buy different shocks for the front and the rear or all the same? if someone could help please that would be awesome
