Urban Runner with XM Satellite Radio

Hello All,

I bought my Urban Runner about 6 months ago and love it and first off just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this site. It really helped me to get a good deal on my car and I received a lot of great insight.

I've done a lot of searching and haven't been able to find any specific information on it, but has anyone installed XM Satellite with the TomTom Eclipse unit in the Urban Runner? If you have, are there any problems with it? Does the dealer have to install it, if I decide not to install it myself? I read somewhere that the TomTom unit cannot display the entire song name or artist name. Has anyone had any problems with that? Anyway, thanks for any help you can give me.

Did you ever get the factory XM Radio to work in your Urban Runner? I recently had it installed, and lthough I can receive all the channels, it doesn't seem compatible with my head unit because the screen consistently flashes no signal, and the TOM TOM screen reverts to Channel 1. The Toyota dealer does not have a solution. Any suggestions?

ive never installed the xm but i imagine its pretty easy. check my sig for links to my Pioneer install and it has links to other installs. just take the unit out and plug the XM in. should be straigh forward

the unit does not display full text no. it will scroll but it wont show the full text.
