UPDATE: INSTALLED: standby for more

OK, I installed the URD MAF calibrator, so this is my semi write up for everyone.
First, I took off the glove compartment completely, and the trim under the glove compartment, which holds the 4WD ECU.

Next, following the PDF which I can send to people, I labeled the 5 plugs, ABCDE

Then following the diagram ,again on the instructions, stripped the correct wires, and spliced the PCU to those wires.

By nadroj6 at 2011-12-18 The last one requires cutting the ECU wire to the MAF sensor, but I sucked it up and cut the wire, connecting the two PCU (portable control unit/the calibrator to each end of the cut wire.

I put caps on some of the connections i made

Next, once everything was wired in, I used industrial velcro to velcro it inside

I'll report later on the effects of the URD calibrator, so check back in a while and I'll update the Thread.

If anyone in the future needs help with installation, or has questions about the installation, I'm glad to help.

Thank you!

Ok, I found it, If anyone needs the PDF I can send it to them.

My next question is, does anyone have a picture or video of where they mounted the URD unit... I've got some electrical skills, but I don't know exactly where to put this unit.

EDIT: Also where is the ECU that I need to connect to?

I don't really have an answer to your question but i'm curious about you experience with the unit. Did you notice a power difference after installing it? Did you install it just because of your CAI or are do you have an exhaust too?

Lol, the x-runner forum kinda matches the x-runners... really cool, but i feel like there be too much bling... which is slowing it down.

I don't have an exhaust at the moment, but i do plan on adding one in the future, it also helps with the MAF ratios at this elevations ~9000 feet.

The unit seems great, havn't noticed a considerable sound difference, and havn't driven enough to see a change in the MPGs... but it seems to jump right into second gear, and nothing has blown up yet.

More on the way...
