USB Dash Power Route from Power Block

I am going to be adding a USB plug in the dash for keeping my phone + 1 other device charged.

This will be an 'always on' circuit with the hopes that I can use it to charge my phone overnight while camping and possibly my power brick as well.

I will have a fused source available under the hood. OTTOMH, the USB chargers are usually 4.8A on the dual outlets. So would my 15A (max) fused circuit be sufficient for adding power to a dual usb outlet, perhaps even to a second or 3rd dual outlet?

Is there a preferred manufacturer? I see some are illuminated and some have a voltage readout on them. Both of these are not necessary for my application. What one are you using and do you recommend it?

2x4.8A or 4.8A total? That amperage is at 5V, so you could put both of them on a 15A 12V circuit.

There is a rubber grommet in the firewall, use that for wires

I usually see 2.4A x2, max 4.8. So it would be a potential 2 - 3 x 4.8 plugs.

Yup. Took me 1/2 a day of pushing through the drivers side for the winch cut off and compressor switches.

so 3x4.8A @5V is only 6A at 12V, you can have 6 4.8A-5V loads on a 15A and stay at 80% of fuse max
