Yes I have. With the 2k rebate on new 06 models on lots it would seem the nada and KBB are unrealisticly high.

I paid $33,000 for my '06 V8 Limited with 8700 miles in November. The sticker was around $42,500.

No it doesn't. The vehicles are apples and oranges but thanks anyway

There can't be many 2006's left, so I wouldn't worry about that.

I think the best estimate of retail value would be to subtract 5% to 10% from what people are really paying (not MSRP) for a similar new 2007. Wholesale/trade-in will be another 10% below that.

Also, a vehicle takes the biggest hit in depreciation in its first year as high as 25% for some models.

i would estimate the sales value at $26-$27k. i bought an 06 sr5 4x4 with similar miles and condition as yours in October - i paid $24.5k - i don't have the leather or v8 (have third row)

Thanks for the replies. I have decided to keep the runner for another year or 2. Other than being a bit unhappy with the headroom (I have a sunroof) and wanting a better seat for a tall person, I think my ride kicks butt. I have had no problems at all with the exception of the occasional famous clunk. Even that seems to have disappeared.
