Used BF GoodRich A/T 285/70 R17. How much?

I found locally for sale 5 BF Good Rich All-Terrain T/A Sz. LT 285/70 R17. With 50% tread left. How much is the most I should pay. He wants $245. He said the spare has a damaged bead lock and would need a new tube.

I'm also picking up some FJ wheels tonight for $300.

I hope the seller doesn't own T4R!

That is worth every bit of 285.. that looks like 70% tread left in my opinion. Get him as low as he goes and shoot for it. So I ended up getting the tires. I offered and he accepted $200. I guess he had them for $300 last week and no one wanted it. I felt bad after I paid him he said he was selling his boat and two guns for his daughters tuition. I'm pretty sure he would take less for the tires but oh well. I feel like I helped him a little.
