Username Changes

Guys, what is wrong with some of you! I have received close to 20 requests this week for username changes! Repost from several months ago:

In the past several weeks I have received many requests for screen name changes. I have spoken to admin and it's not really easy and he will not respond for some time, if at all. So here's the deal: If you have been here for awhile and have several hundred posts and have a good reason to change it (and I know a few of you do) then pm me with details on what you want your new screen name to be. I will forward that info and it will happen. Maybe.

The bulk of requests read this:
If you only have a few posts and want something different and haven't been here long then it will be easier and faster to just create a new account and pm me to delete your old account. If you have a build thread or something you need to save you can copy and paste those links or pictures.

For newbies: A word of advice - Don't create your account and screen name after having too much to drink. What sounds witty and cool after four beers is probably not witty nor cool tomorrow. Just a PSA because I get those stories too.

Also new guys: Quit pm'ing me to do crap that you can do yourself. Take a minute and realize that YOU can delete your own posts and threads!

Funny you should mention that. I'm pretty sure I PM'd Admin to change my SN to TRONER a month or two ago after a few glasses of Jameson. Although if I woke up one day and my SN was changed to TRONER... I'd stand by it.:beer:
 
I came up with my name while sober, but after smoking a couple of bowls, I slowly realized I should have named myself something a little more truthful. So I tried about a year or two ago to change my name to FatAssInA4Runner.

I never heard back from anyone...

After reading this thread though, now I think I might want to change my name to Moderator. Can I do that? It doesn't mean what you think it means -- I promise. It's uh...it's a mix between where I live (Modesto) and erator...which is a uh...a fancy part that...uh..erates...ehhh...stuff. Totally legit -- i swear.
