Uwharrie in NC July 5,6, or 7th

Planning on going to URE one of the days after the 4th. Anyone else interested in going. this will only be my second time there, so it would be cool if someone with more experience could make it.

My two daughters are going with me on the trip. Our first trip was the day of the 2013 Spring Jamboree at URE. I was stock height then so I only went on Falls Dam and a little ways into Wolfs Den. Now I am up frt 2.5/rear 1.5 with 265/70's and want to see more of the areas that I am capable of going on now.

My Dad always told me when he was wheeling this truck stock in Utah and Montana, tell them back home I am out here doing "real things". Meaning, seeing the outside and nature and not sitting on screens with FB, twitter, etc.

So I am taking my girls out to do some Real Things.... BTW, I guess I should get off this screen now.. :bounce:

I might be able to make it, but I'm not 100% yet. With the setup you have now you should be able to go everywhere in URE aside from the harder side of daniel

Going to be out there with a bunch of Heep guys from the local club here. Which day, idk. They're going out there from the 4-7th. I'm going to go one, maybe two of those days. Might just make it a Friday-Saturday trip so I can meet up with you.

I've never been. Is this something I can do with a stock 3rd gen? About the most I've used my 4wd for is to get around muddy and/or sandy construction job sites.

I went out there Friday night and met up with a buddy. We wheeled Dutch John, spent an hour winching over a drainage berm that kept sliding us off the trail. We met up with 3 guys from ncfjcruisers Saturday morning and wheeled dickey bell, and the backside of Daniel. It was a slick mess after all this rain.
