Medic..... It has nothing to do with ignorance, insults are not necessary on this blog, we are a family united by the 4runner! We are simply saying, it has nothing to do with showing off or compensating for something else... Driving fast does not mean you have to necessary bother other people. What say in things or control do you have? You wouldn't know if the guy freaking out at you behind you has his wife in labor or if it's some dude in hurry to work. I do admit there are those typical *******s that are reckless and weave through traffic just to get a couple of cars ahead. All I'm saying is, live a little, just the way you might do something that bothers someone else without you knowing. Ultimately you can't be a dictator controlling how people drive on the road. Life if short! And if it makes someone happy having a quick little drag race... Than be it! Who cares, find joy in the little things ;)
 
...and who said anything about respect? This isn't a mafia hahah, one does not drive to be respected, you follow up on your actions because it's morally right, I don't think it's up to you for judging or attacking anyone for their actions
 
Yea guys, this post was not intended to create any drama. So lets just drop it. I posted this video to prove to all of the curious 4runner owners of how they compare to each other with specific mods. Didn't mean to offend anyone.
 
i did a side by side 03 v8 2wd ltd vs 06 v6 2wd ltd....the v6 won by a hair all three times. was kind of disappointing.

So? the V8 could be in need of a tune up and the v6 could have been in great shape, did the drivers switch cars.... There are alot of factors involved.

um, no. the 8 will take it off the line, perhaps at highway speeds the 6 will catch up and make some headway.
and in terms of judging you because you street race? why can't someone?
you street race in my neighbourhood or put the lives of me, my family or even a cat at risk and i can judge you, or have you ticketed in the very least.
I don't think medic cares what you do to/with yourself, he probably cares about innocents that you might hurt.
 
I don't think the 6 will ever catch up. At least it did not seem like any of the 4th Gens I test drove would. They did sound more frantic and crazy when floored though. I took four (one V8 and three V6s) to a smooth and deserted frontage road and floored them till 90. Before anyone crucifies me, the salesman asked me to go there due to no traffic so blame him. :)

It seemed the V8 was quicker...am I wrong?

That is true Eastcoast, if he wants to go to a track, or a vacant air field where bystanders won't be harmed, then that is on him, but on public roads, with people in the vehicles is beyond idiotic to me.
