So I did an oil change the other day and saw some grease from the cv axle had splattered all from the inner cv boot on the driver side. Took a look at the boot itself and it looks like there are no torn and the clamp itself on both sides look fine as well. Any ideas? I don't want to replace the boot if I don't have to, but if the clamps look fine i dont know if reclamping it will solve any thing

It's a common problem, it just needs reclamped. I picked up some hose clamps, replaced mine, and not an issue since.

I just fixed mine. Went to Autozone and bought some CV clamps and some CV grease. Then went to Walgreens and asked the pharmacist if they had any over the counter syringes I could buy. Instead of buying syringes, the pharmacist was nice enough to give me some free "oral" syringes they had lying in the back office.
The next day I took off the old clamp, inserted some grease, then put the new clamp on. Putting the new clamp on was kind of a pain in the butt due to the design of it, but I eventually got it on nice n' snug. Also, I inserted a piece of clear tubing on the end of the syringe to ensure grease got far enough into the CV boot and not just on the outside.
After I got it on, I drove about 40 miles or so to run some errands. When I got home I check for leaks and sure enough there was some leakage, but not a lot. I caulked this up to possibly putting too much grease in. Regardless, I wiped the grease away and made a few more errards and after two more trips totaling around 30 miles each, I have yet to see anymore leakage. Checkout the pictures I took of the job.

^^^ I just did this two weekends ago. Ordered the marine clamps noted on the thread with the rounded edges. I pulled the whole boot and cleaned and re-greased
as mentioned in the thread. The syringe would likely work as mentioned too - assuming no crud made its way in there.
Fyi it took me a bit, but you're saving big $$ by doing this.
