v8 intake performance

i have a 05 v8, im looking for a nice intake that will
improve performance, i dont care much about sound
i read plenty of threads and they all lead to sound what about
performance as any1 felt a difference with the v8.
please no v6's

I have a k&n and only noticed a little difference when I first installed it, it seemed a little more responsive when stepping on the gas. As far as performance goes, I feel it hardly makes a difference, but for me the sound makes it worth it.

Volant, K&N and one other I believe.

i really just want more acceleration, more zip but i guess that not happening
