V8 Spark Plugs

Yes. I know that the Toyota maintenance guide says the spark plugs need to be changed at 100k miles.

However, Toyota documentation (obtained from tundrasolutions.com) on the 2UZ-FE engine (attached) indicates a 60k-mile intended maintenance interval on page EG-167 (or for the .pdf 24 of 77). Thoughts? Comments? It certainly can't hurt?

tundra v8 are US made & as far as i know r 4.6 or 5.7, the 4r v8 4.7 are built in japan,

nothing like that will ever hurt a vehicle, but unless you need it i wouldn't do it, pull a plug and check. why spend the money if you dont have to? are you having problems with the vehicle now?

I mean, I know it won't hurt to do it. It just seems odd that there would be a difference...

...that being said, I've always kinda thought Toyota has treated the V8 as an afterthought, so I can't say I'm too surprised.
