v8 swap

Has anyone ever attempted a EFI V-8 swap? I was talking to my wife the other day and we are thinking of trying a swap to a V-8. I know that I will need to get the transmission with it as well. I like the idea of having all that power and not having to mash the pedal through the floor board. But before I get too far ahead of myself I need to do some serious number crunching to get all the facts. Mainly the differences in weights and diamentions. But let me know if there are a few sites that may offer some insite if you know of one. Thanks

Beware Pirate will flame you off if you ask a question without searching first. I would say by far most information on the web about 4wd though.

Marlin Crawler for all you fab stuff you need for tranny's to mount up, etc.....

Lot goes into it but it's fairly straightforward

Thanks for the link to those two sites. I have so far found some very useful info in Pirate4x4. I will continue to dig for serveral weeks and see what comes of it. Thanks again.

Check with Advance Adapters, they have what you need, and will send you a copy of the install manual.
