I think what Mike means to say is "Not that I know of... "
I find that there is an entire group of people that do the really serious modding that either don't have time for, or simply don't enjoy posting everyday on the internet.
I'm sure its been done, but I haven't seen it yet.
On the bright side, if you're considering any other swap, Downey makes a great book on it that they give away free for the asking.
I haven't gotten all the way through it yet, but it seems to be packed with information.

Yes ...you are right not that I know of...anything can be done if you have the skill or lots of $.
If you think you are going too pull the Tudra V-8 and drop it in the engine bay it's not going to be that easy.
I have seen lots of V-8's in the 2nd gen. 4Runner/pickup most comman being a small block Chevy V-8 and even that you need to fab. some stuff.

did i mention i have a syclone with 400hp? and that i've spent years behind a welder? i think i can wrap my head around the fact that anything can be done.

I was going to give you some useful info, but not now.
Why don't you take your turbo-cooled inter-charged Chevy POS and go back to your street trucker board ass-wipe.
Don't show up on a board you know nothing about and start spouting off.
You can obviously "wrap your head around anything" because it's apparent it's up your ass.

I won't start a pissing match...but you nothing about me son, I was swapping motors into cars when you were sucking your thumb watching cartoons.
I hate people that come onto forums that ask "vague" questions such as yours and when they get a response they don't like start flamming. Grow up some.
If your such a engine builder you would have done the research yourself and do it yourself, instead of asking.
Yes my 4Runner may be stock and yours is so built....please..... but I have plans for mine in the near future...sometimes when your a big boy and married with children your priorities in life change and you can't spend all your money on your rides.
BTW I also have 2 other toys sitting in my garage that are not stock.....but like I said I won't start a pissing contest.
