Anyone got the low down, Is there that much difference in milage vs. the rad power? Not that much more HP

An all-new LEV certified 4.0 L 1GR-FE V6 which produces 245 hp (183 kW) and 282 lb·ft (382 N·m) of torque is standard, but for the first time, a V8 became available, the ULEV certified 4.7 L 2UZ-FE engine which produces 260 hp (194 kW) and 306 lb·ft (415 N·m) of torque. Fuel economy is estimated at 17/20 mpg for the V6 and 15/19 mpg for the V8.

Lol...! Please use both/either the Google search feature or the forum search feature. This topic has been absolutely beaten to death, and then beaten again. Oh, and after that, it was beaten another few times for good measure.

Please SEARCH!

I just hope this thread won't lead to another argument like usual.

*Edit. Sorry if I came across rude...

:iagree: Dont start another one!!

The answer is that they're both great engines. Unless you're hauling a lot of weight on a regular basis I don't think I'd go out of the way to find the V8. If you find the car that's the color, condition and price you want it won't matter which engine is in it. At least that's how I thought of it when I bought mine. They're both very capable engines that should last a long time.
