I bought my 02 SR5 in February of 2007 and I've been accumulating parts for it ever since. I just got around to working on it last year and its been a slow process with everything else going on. Still not done but its getting there. I will update often...

March 2007 with brand new Yokohama AT-S tires. Great tires!

Summer 2007. Brakes were shuttering real bad so new rotors and pads up front. I painted the calipers while I was in there with caliper paint.

These are terrible pics but I changed the illumination to red. Much easier on the eyes at night.

I changed everything but the clock, that wasnt going to happen.

Radiator decided to go south in the middle of january in sub zero temps. Ordered this all metal 2 row so I wont have a problem with the composite/plastic end tanks on the factory rad cracking anymore. :violin:

Box of Ensolite and sound deadening from Raamaudio to help with the tire howl.

Ordered some Rust-Seal and POR 15 to clean up the underside of the truck.

Lift on!

Mounted my Navigon where the sun glass pocket was. Unit uses an external antenna that I have mounted on the dash. It's mounted on a cell phone clam shell mount so when I'm not using it, it folds up out of the way.

Got rid of the in dash screen for an Alpine Ipod unit and Uniden scanner. I've since moved the scanner to the center armrest compartment and put my CB under the radio.

And the sound deadening begins. Two layers of Raamat and 2 layers of ensolite on horizontal surfaces. Two layers of Dynamat extreme and one layer of Ensolite on vertical surfaces.

All sorts of Alpine equipment getting installed. Along with the stereo, I'm installing all sorts of other stuff including an auxillary optima yellowtop in the back of the truck, power inverter, Orion MBR70 electronic battery isolator, etc...

The oak carpet was kind of tired so I decided to dye it with Duplicolor carpet/fabric dye. Worked really well.

This is the area under the driver seat where I mounted the XM receiver and CD changer. I didnt want to run any screws through the truck so I glued down some 1/2 inch plywood with construction adhesive and then screwed the equipment to that.

I ended up mounting a red digital ambient air temp gauge where the clock used to reside.

Very, very nice! Kudos on the plywood trick, as it's an old audio method for the exact reason of people not wanted to drill through metal and bring on the rust. How much of an improvement can you describe that the sound deadening has helped? Lol at dying the carpet black as I had done that with an 02 Grand Cherokee that I had with a worn out greyish/tan interior.
